INDEPENDENCE, MINN. – The 29th-ranked Jayhawks opened the Gopher Invitational in type on Sunday, capturing a group rating of -8 via 36 holes to finish day one. The Jayhawks stand tied for sixth place and can full the ultimate spherical of the event on Monday.
